About the company

Hissmekano was founded in 1938 by Samuel Thalin, initially named "Stockholms Hisservice." Over the years, it has evolved and specialized in the sale of elevator components.

Today, Hissmekano is Europe's leading wholesaler of elevator components and a pioneering e-commerce company with 27 dedicated employees in Sweden and Germany. The company's headquarters are located in Täby, and we deliver from warehouses in both Sweden and Germany.

Hissmekano has a sister company in Estonia that manufactures many of the elevator components provided by Hissmekano using advanced CAD/CAM technology. Products that are hard to find or have gone out of production elsewhere can be quickly produced in Estonia when there is sufficient demand in the market.

Furthermore, Hissmekano has an extensive network of suppliers, with the goal of always being able to provide all the products that our customers need for their elevators, from guide shoe inserts and door contacts to custom made pulleys, advanced circuit boards and frequency converters.
